The University of Hawaii Bookstores are changing their name to University of Hawaii Campus Stores. Tricia Ejima, the campus stores director, announced the rebrand on November 2. The new identity aligns with the stores' move away from a primary focus on textbooks and course materials.

The retail operation now sells a wider range of goods. Inventory includes UH apparel, technology, print services, and grab-and-go items. Ejima stated that the name change reflects the expanded selection. She described the goal as providing an all-in-one retail experience for the UH community.

The rebrand involves visual and digital updates. New logos and signage will replace current branding. Social media handles will change to match the new name. The system plans to add more products and events by partnering with national and local brands.

UH Campus Stores will host launch events on November 5. The events run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at all store locations across the university system. Attendees can purchase a limited ALOHA Collection product drop. The events also include giveaways and special offers for students, faculty, staff, and the general public.

The stores serve the entire University of Hawaii system. They continue to offer standard course materials and supplies. Management says the rebrand maintains existing services while tailoring offerings to specific campus needs. The change affects both in-store and online shopping platforms.
