TechCrunch has confirmed the November 4 schedule for its Founder Summit 2026 in Boston.
The event takes place at the SoWa Power Station and is hosted with Fidelity Private Shares. The full-day program targets founders, investors, and operators who must make high-stakes decisions before all information is available. The agenda extends beyond standard topics like fundraising and artificial intelligence to include customer acquisition, team building, and leadership development. Sessions also address scaling companies within and outside traditional tech hubs.
Steve Fredette, president and co-founder of Toast, will open the program on the Impact Stage. His session, titled "Building a Company That Keeps Reinventing Itself," examines how a Boston-based startup transitioned into a public company while adapting to shifting market expectations. Fredette will discuss the balance between evolving business models and maintaining original customer needs.
Investors will lead two sessions focused on growth management. Kent Bennett, a partner at Bessemer Venture Partners, will present "Finding Product Market Fit Before You Scale." This talk analyzes the signals founders should observe before increasing headcount or spending. Rudina Seseri, founder and managing partner of Glasswing Ventures, will follow with "When to Scale and When to Hit the Brakes," which explores the timing of acceleration versus restraint. Lior Div, CEO of 7AI, will distinguish between adding AI to existing processes and constructing a company around AI architecture from the start.
The schedule also highlights the local Boston ecosystem. Chase Garbarino, CEO of HqO, will present "The Boston Founder Playbook" on the Impact Stage. This session covers talent, capital, and community building outside the Bay Area. Dave Balter, a venture partner at True Ventures, will lead a session on effective pitching. He will join Chirag Shah of Define Ventures and Simran Suri of Maveron to judge a live pitch competition on the Build Stage.
Additional speakers include Hunter Worland of NEA, who will discuss distribution as a competitive advantage, and Vineet Edupuganti of Cogent Security, who will address building high-performance teams. Tina Tosukhowong of TDK Ventures will identify signals for category winners. Fidelity Private Shares will contribute sessions on fundraising trends and enterprise relationships. The day concludes with roundtables, networking, and a reception.
