One America News Network announced today that it will premiere a new television series focused on federal immigration enforcement.
Titled 'Bad Hombres,' the program will debut this weekend on OAN. The network said the series highlights the work of Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents who track and capture individuals who bypassed standard immigration systems.
According to the network's announcement, the show features unscripted footage of agents pursuing specific types of offenders. The network listed sex offenders, drug dealers, arms traffickers, members of foreign terrorist organizations, and murderers as the primary subjects of the episodes.
The series also includes segments on families affected by these individuals. The debut episode features stories from families mourning the deaths of their children. The network described this as a look at the reality of an open border.
Dan Garza, CEO of Real Media Works, stated that the production team worked to capture the best stories from the pursuit of these individuals. Garza said, 'Nothing here is scripted, nothing is staged. This is what we observed, and what they did. The real story.'
The series will air six times over the weekend. Saturday broadcasts are scheduled for 12 pm ET, 4 pm ET, and 10 pm ET. Sunday airings are set for 7 am ET, 2 pm ET, and 5 pm ET.
OAN launched on July 4, 2013, and operates news bureaus in Washington, D.C., and California. The network produces sixteen hours of live news every weekday along with four one-hour prime time talk shows.
