Gamers looking for a high-end pre-built computer can save $450 on the ABS Stratos II Ruby at Newegg. The retailer is currently listing the system for $2,549.99, a reduction from its standard price. This discount makes the machine the most affordable RTX 5070 Ti gaming PC available on the platform as of this week.
The deal centers on a specific combination of hardware components. The system is powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor. This eight-core chip utilizes AMD's 3D V-Cache technology, which provides 96MB of L3 cache. According to Tom's Hardware, the larger cache reduces the need for the processor to access slower system memory, resulting in lower latency and more stable frame rates during gameplay. The outlet notes that while the chip is no longer the absolute top performer in their benchmarks, it remains very close to the leader, and no Intel processor currently matches an X3D part for gaming performance.
Graphics duties are handled by an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti. This Blackwell-generation card includes 8,960 CUDA cores and 16GB of GDDR7 video memory. Tom's Hardware positions the card as a mid-to-high-tier option suitable for 1440p and 4K gaming. The 16GB of memory offers more capacity than the 8GB found on lower-end models like the RTX 5060 and RTX 5050, providing additional headroom for demanding titles.
The remaining specifications include 32GB of DDR5 memory installed as two 16GB G.Skill Ripjaws M5 Neo RGB modules running at 6,000 MT/s. Storage consists of a 2TB Team Group NV5000 M.2 SSD with Gen 4 speeds. The system also features Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, and Ethernet connectivity. A Bitspower 240mm all-in-one liquid cooler manages the processor's heat output.
ABS is Newegg's proprietary brand, which is why its systems are frequently listed on the site. Tom's Hardware reported that the Stratos II Ruby is expected to sell out quickly due to the price point. The outlet described the current pricing as a strong value for the market, citing the specific pairing of the 9800X3D processor and the RTX 5070 Ti graphics card.
Buyers can expect the system to handle 4K gaming with ray tracing in current titles, potentially using multi-frame generation where necessary. While top graphics presets are supported, players may need to adjust settings in the most demanding games at 4K resolution. The 2TB solid-state drive provides sufficient space for multiple large game installations.
