$329.99. That is the new price for the Acer Predator XB27OU at Best Buy as of October 23, 2026. The retailer trimmed $50 from the original cost of the 27-inch gaming display. This reduction targets players who want to switch from standard IPS panels to OLED technology without a steep price increase.

Acer released the Predator XB27OU with a 26.5-inch QD-OLED panel. The screen supports a maximum resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels, also known as QHD or 2K. Tom's Hardware noted that this resolution is compatible with mid-range gaming PCs. The graphics card in such a system should handle the frame rate and resolution demands without difficulty.

The monitor prioritizes speed. It runs at a 240Hz refresh rate. The gray-to-gray response time is 0.03ms, a speed enabled by the OLED technology. Tom's Hardware stated that these specifications provide smooth motion in games. They also eliminate the ghosting effects common on slower displays.

The display supports AMD FreeSync Premium. This feature synchronizes the monitor's refresh rate with the frame rate produced by the game. The synchronization removes screen tearing. It improves the overall gaming experience by preventing visual stutter.

Color performance is a key advantage of the QD-OLED panel. The XB27OU is rated for 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. It maintains a Delta E accuracy figure below 2. The screen also supports HDR10, a 10-bit color standard. This technology improves contrast, color depth, and brightness compared to standard dynamic range. It delivers deep blacks and strong contrast, which makes game visuals more vivid.

Connectivity options include two HDMI 2.1 ports and one DisplayPort 1.4 port. These ports allow users to connect a gaming PC and multiple game consoles to the same screen. Shoppers can purchase the monitor at Best Buy for $329.99.

Tom's Hardware described the discount as a good opportunity to add current display technology to a gaming setup. The outlet suggested the price point is modest for the features provided. The price cut makes the monitor accessible to a wider group of PC gamers.
